HBO Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+ Are Fighting for Your Monthly Subscription

HBO Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+ Are Fighting for Your Monthly Subscription

Here's What Separates HBO Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+

HBO Max, Prime Video, or Apple TV+

If you're having a tough time deciding on which streaming service to subscribe to next, maybe this can help. HBO Max, Apple TV+, and Prime Video all have popular paid on-demand streaming TV services.

All three also offer a nice selection of content for the monthly fee. Here's what each has to offer and how they compare.

HBO Max

Of the three streaming TV services, HBO Max has the most diverse content. They probably also have more content overall than both Prime and AppleTV+ combined.
While they are going through some changes with the addition and merging of Discovery+ content next year. They offer plenty of content to keep subscribers coming back for more. Plans start at $9.99/month.

These are the Shows Everyone is Watching On HBO Max

Apple TV+

Apple TV+ started off slow with a weak catalog of content. But what Apple has done differently from most other streaming services is they are building out their library with mostly original content.

This has worked out rather well, as has its lower price of $5/month which recently was raised to $7/month. But if you sign-up for a year at a time as with the others it will shave some money off the overall cost.
This also means you are locked in and less of a chance you may bounce between several streaming services throughout the year.
Bouncing between several streaming TV service providers gives you access to more content instead of signing up for only one to save a few dollars.

Prime Video

Prime Video remains another popular option as a paid streaming service. Many Amazon customers who are Prime Members receive Prime Video as part of the membership perks. While they offer a nice selection of content, it may not be as well stocked as HBO Max, but at this point offers as much or more than what you'll find on Apple TV+ but not as much as on Netflix.

Another area where AppleTV and HBO Max have Prime Video beat is there are fewer ads. But you can't beat watching Prime Video if you're already a Prime subscriber. If you are then you won't want to miss out on any of these popular shows.
If you don't need the additional Prime perks like free shipping. You can sign-up for Prime Video as a stand-alone service for $8.99/month.
