Spectrum now offers 200Mbps Internet to Most Broadband Subscribers


If you are a Charter Spectrum Internet customer, you may be in for a treat. Because they just raised their entry level broadband Internet plan to 200Mpbs.

Faster Charter Broadband Rolling out to 36 More Markets


Faster broadband will soon be available in 36 more Charter Spectrum markets.

Charter first began upgrading its starting internet speeds in December 2020, boosting rates for around 8 million homes across 17 markets. It doubled speeds in another 17 markets covering approximately 6 million additional homes in March 2021. source: Fierce Telecom.




200Mbps To Replace 100Mbps in Most Markets


If Spectrum 200Mbpss Internet is available where you live, then they will automatically bump you up to this faster tier from their 100Mpbs plan.

The best news is there will be no price increase for those being bumped up to the faster Charter broadband plan. (At least not yet.)


Here's How to Check if You Received the Speed Increase

Updates to the 100Mbps plan should happen automatically. So you won't need to call Spectrum to request it. To see if you are already receiving the faster Internet plan. Point your browser to this website and run a speed check on your broadband Internet connection.
