Apple TV+ Extended Trial Ending Soon

All good things must end, and the extended one year Apple TV+ Free trial is now ending on July 1, 2021

For those who have been enjoying the Apple TV+ extended trial, the free ride is about to expire here's what you need to do to cancel

Apple offered anyone who purchased an Apple Device up until June 30, 2021 a one year free trial to their Apple TV+ streaming service. After this date new users can only receive a two week free trial. Unless they purchase an eligible Apple Device, than Apple will extend the Free trial to 3/months.

Apple was very generous when they extended their free trial to July 13, which is the last day that you can watch free. So if your free trial was up last November, this meant you were able to watch their streaming service almost 19 months with no monthly bill.

When the channel first started out there was not a lot of content, but their channel has slowly started getting better content. In fact in a recent survey of TV and Wall street execs, they ranked Apple TV+ fairly high up beating out Hulu and even some other more established streaming TV services.

If you no longer want to keep Apple TV+, here's the easiest way to cancel their service. But if you still have some time left on your free trial and you cancel early, you will immediately lose all access to the Apple TV+ channel. When you get to the cancel page, they will tell you how much time you have left on the clock before they will charge your credit card $4.99/month.


Cancel Apple TV+ From your iPhone, iPod or iPad


1. Open the Settings app on your phone. It's the gray gear looking icon.
2. Tap on your name.
3. Tap on Subscriptions.
4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription under Active tap Apple TV+. Finally, they will ask you one more time to confirm your selection.



There are several other ways to cancel Apple TV+ from different devices like an Apple TV, Apple Watch, or from a web browser on a Mac, and PC .
