GeForce Now Has Free Gaming from Nvidia

If You Have Not Been Able to Become a GeForce Now Beta Tester - We have Good News!

GeForce Now

The Beta Test Is Over and Now Anyone Can use Nvidia's New Cloud Based GeForce Now Free Gaming Service

GeForce Now has officially launched in North America and Europe. Play games on your Nvidia SHIELD from the cloud. Join now and play some awesome titles for free.

Nvidia is betting their cloud gaming platform will become more popular than the Google Stadia game streaming service which also recently launched.

Why We Like Nvidia's Cloud Gaming Service Better

With GeForce Now anyone can join and play games from the cloud up to an hour in length for free. Stadia on the other hand is offering a special introductory price of $4.99/month. And when that is over, it will cost $9.99 per month.

Stadia also require members to purchase another copy of a game as a stadia version even if they own the game already on another platform.

On GeForce Now, members can play Steam games and games they may own already on a PC. Currently over 1000 games are already supported. And if the hour sessions are not long enough they also offer a special introductory Founders membership plan with unlimited access which only costs $4.99/month for 12 months with a 90/days free trial.

Purchase Games Right From GeForce Now

If you don't own many games, that's not a problem with Nvidia's gaming service. Games can be purchased and played right from within the app itself. Some games will even be available on Nvidia's cloud servers that can be played for free.

How Fast Of An Internet Connection Do You Need?

It's surprising that playing games from the cloud does not require a super high speed Internet connection. Nvidia recommends at a minimum 15Mbps which will let you stream games 60 FPS at 720p. For 1080p game streams you will need 25Mbps broadband Internet speed.

But Ethernet or a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connected Router is necessary in order to stream games without lagging.
