Halo, the super poular video game/TV series is now Streaming on Paramount Plus!
Halo the TV series is based on a Sci-Fi video game that was designed and released by game developer Bungie. The storyline is based on the experiences of Master Chief, who is one of a group of superior soldiers codenamed Spartans, and his artificial intelligence (AI) companion, Cortana.
These soldiers are fighting an interstellar war between humanity and The Covenant which is an alliance of aliens. The Alien Covenant, is led by their religious leaders called the Prophets. Together they worship an ancient civilization known as Forerunners, which all perished in the process of defeating the parasitic Flood.
The Halo Array are a group of ring-shaped superweapons created by the Forerunners to destroy the Flood. But the Covenant thinks these weapons are religious artifacts that can be used to, send them on a "Great Journey" that will take them to meet the Forerunners.

Season 1 Episodes Synopsis
S01E01 Contact
In the year 2552, humans on the planet Madrigal fight for independence from Earth, but a fatal encounter with the Alien Covenant complicates things; Master Chief John 117 and his super-soldier "Spartans" join the fight.
S01E02 Unbound
John takes Kwan to an old friend and learns more about the mystery object, which the Covenant and Makee are determined to steal. With the alien threat growing, Dr. Halsey has a plan to deal with John's unpredictable behavior.
S01E03 Emergence John meets his new partner and discovers secrets in his own memory; Kwan wants to continue her people's fight for independence, but Soren has different plans for her; Makee's plan to retrieve the Madrigal object has deadly consequences.
S01E04 Homecoming
Guided by his visions, John takes Halsey and Cortana back to where it all began, looking for answers from his past. With Soren along for protection, Kwan goes in search of an army.
S01E05 Reckoning
On the run and out of options, Kwan and Soren have a difference of opinion. With the possibility of finding the mysterious Halo on everyone's minds, John makes a horrible discovery. And the war rears its ugly head.
S01E06 Solace
Survivors of the battle with the Covenant return to Reach. John confronts Dr. Halsey and her lies. The new prisoner seems to know John better than he knows himself. The mysterious artifact shows John something startling.
S01E07 Inheritance
Kwan's journey to uncover her family's "true purpose" takes her deep into the deserts of Madrigal. Søren obsesses over unfinished business.
S01E08 Allegiance
John and Makee come to terms with their shared vision. Halsey has one last chance to save her mission, and herself. As things come to a head, everyone must choose a side.
S01E09 Transcendence
Beaten, battered, and betrayed, John 117 leads the Spartans on a suicide mission to find the Halo and save humanity.
