Making Android Better

Android is a very popular operating system that can be found on many smart phones, TV, watches, and tablets. Now Google is tweaking their Android OS to make it even faster and work better with many devices.

Enhanced Content Sharing

Soon you may be able to connect your Bluetooth headphones easier and with more devices. This is something Google has in the works and plans on rolling out the Android in future updates. You'll also be able to swap between devices without missing a beat. Like starting a movie on an Android media player, and then instantly swapping over to an Android phone if a call is incoming without any input from the user.

Better Android Unlocking for More Devices

Wirelessly unlocking car doors is a feature that was introduced to work with BMW cars. And it is being expanded to work with more cars and other products as well. They call this tech Ultra Wideband and it interacts with proximity sensors. If your phone has this feature, your Android phone will soon be able to unlock certain cars without removing the phone from your pocket. The company has plans to add this unlocking technology to other devices, like Chromebooks, Android watches and tablets.

Faster Android Connections

Fast Pair is a feature that lets you connect and pair to Bluetooth devices even faster than before. While this is already available on Android Phones, soon it will be rolled out to other Android Home Devices and Google Chromebooks. This will let you pair devices with a single click. And it will cut down on the time it used to take to pair a Bluetooth device.
