If You Have Not Searched for YouTube Movies You May Be Missing Out on Some Amazing Free Content

Movies on YouTube can be broken down into two segments, legal ad-supported movies. And user uploaded movies that sometimes violate copyright rules. Searching for and finding each kind requires two different techniques.

Legal YouTube Movies

When it comes to legal YouTube movies, finding this content is easy. Because YouTube has a constantly updated list of one hundred movies that can be watched anytime free.

These are all movies from major studios, that offer great content. While you won't find brand new movie releases on this list. You may find a few movies that are really good that you may have missed.

How to Search for User Uploaded YouTube Movies

During these days of COVID-Lockdowns, visiting and searching YouTube for movies is like taking a virtual trip to the library.

But this is where things get a little more complicated. Because many spammers like to upload fake movies or videos that play the same scene the entire time while trying to entice you to click on a bogus survey link or some other site that will make them money.

So you will quickly learn to ignore and filter out these types of movie posters.

User uploads that contain copyrighted content can be filtered out fairly quick on YouTube. So if you frame your search for only content uploaded in the last month it will greatly eliminate a lot of the fake movie uploads.

Finding good movies on YouTube is a lot of fun. Try searching for content by director’s name or an actor’s name. Or look online at movie review sites like IMDb.com for supporting actors and search by their name.

Be careful though because if you see movies without a title, they are almost always copyrighted full movies uploaded by users trying to circumvent YouTube copyright algorithms.

Learn to ignore links that promise full Movies with no time listed, and you can find some great YouTube movies. If you look at the video length time, most real films are approximately 90 to 120 minutes in length. This is a good indication it's the real deal instead of a fake click my link type of video.

YouTube Movie Search Filters

Use these tips to enhance your YouTube Movie search results:

1. Try filtering from the Search results.

2. Instead of just typing a movie name, add a comma, then the movie. For example, a typical enhanced YouTube search would look like this Example: Night of The Walking Dead, a movie. You can also use this same method to search for films by genre, actor, actress, director.

3. Use this filter to find movie channels. Channels often contain a long list of full movies. Some are paid and some are completely free. Do a search for “free full movies” or “full-length movies” then add a comma and channels. Example: free full moves, channels.

Use Reddit To Find Full YouTube Movies

If you visit this subreddit on Reddit, it will list a treasure trove of movies that other searchers have found on YouTube. But often some of these links do contain movies that may have violated copyright policy and YouTube may remove this content at any time.
