Beggining Jan 11, College Students 18+ Years and Older Can Watch Hulu With Ads for Only $2/month
Hulu deals are back and this time College Students can get a pretty sweet bargin. Beginning on January 11, Hulu launched a new deal on their ad-supported streaming package.
Any college student over 18 can sign-up to Hulu for the ad supported plan for only $1.99/month for a full year. If ads bother you, they also offer an ad-free plan which is a lot more expensive at $11.99/month.
How Does Hulu Now Compare to Netflix and Prime?
Hulu used to have much more content, but ever since Disney bought 21st Century, which owns 66% and Comcast Universal which owns the other 33.3%. A lot of their content moved over to their owned streaming platforms, Disney+ and Peacock. But you will still find some good original TV series that you may have missed.
Netflix may have a larger selection of original shows, and Prime also offers their own original content. But Hulu offers more mainstream shows so it is nice streaming service to fill in the gaps. Especially for only $2 month if you can put up with the commercials.
But if you don't mind the ads, here are some great Free channels that also have ads with tons of great content as well.

Variety is reporting that:"Hulu is partnering with Portland, Ore.-based verification firm SheerID to confirm whether subscribers are eligible for the special deal. According to SheerID, users submit info in a form and the company compares that with “select authoritative data sources” to determine if they qualify for a given promotion."
