Roku Stock Could it Hit $500 in 2021?

Roku Stock Has Been on a Tear Lately Hitting an All-Time High Last Week

Remember when we could have bought Roku Stock for less than $25 a share?

Roku Stock All Time High

The COVID Lockdowns have Been a Major Boom For Streaming TV Companies Like Roku

Roku stock has increased 240% this last year. It has surpassed many analysts' wildest dreams and it may look like there is no end in sight for a while. Investopedia is predicting that in 2021 we very well could see Roku trading at $500 a share. Is that wild or what?

For a small company that first started out as an easy for Netflix subscribers to stream movies and shows from home without DVDs the climb in their stock has been incredible.

While only recently surpassed by Amazon Fire TV Roku has been number one for the number of hours streamed for a long time. The huge number of channels offered are still second to none. They have one of the largest collections of public channels. Plus their long list of private unlisted Roku channels, which also include adult Roku channels that makes them unmatched by any other streaming competitor.

Netflix and Roku have had close ties, but with Netflix's Star waning, and Disney potentially poised to one day pass them up as the number one streaming service. This should not play a large impact since both Netlfix and Disney and so many more channels are available on their platform.

Their Roku Channel continues to bring in more money than sales of their media streamers by offering free ad-supported TV content. With the stock market, nothing is for certain, and it remains to be seen if the $500 or higher share price is attainable. But if there was ever a company with all the stars aligned in their favor it's Roku and we just may see this happen in 2021.
