DIRECTV Now - Most Cable-Like of All The Streaming TV Bundles!

Some cord cutters after dumping cable TV, simply want to replace what they had with a live TV streaming service.

TiVo earlier this year performed an interesting study. They asked cord cutters to choose their perfect a la carte bundle of channels they simply couldn't live without.

They then compared the selection of favorite channels with some of the popular live TV skinny bundles available today.

This is what they found:

DIRECTV NOW - Live a Little	81.5%
SlingTV NOW - Combined Orange and Blue	66.7%
Hulu TV	63.0%
Playstation VUE	59.3%
Sling TV Orange	55.6%
Sling TV Blue	44.4%
YouTube TV	37.0%

DIRECTV NOW overwhelmingly came out on top with the channels they offered in their packages.

DIRECTV NOW's $50/month Just Right package hit the highest mark in this study and most people surveyed choose channels that were all included in this bundle.

The $35/month Just Right package came in at second place. DIRECTV offers the closest cable TV like experience on media streamers like Roku Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.

Number One Reason Why Most Cancel Cable TV

The number one reason given in this survey of why people wanted to dump their cable TV provider was the high overall cost.

Many felt it was just too expensive for what they were paying for. They were not necessary unhappy with watching live TV, they were just unhappy with the ever increasing monthly bills.

This should be a lesson to streaming TV services like DIRECTV Now. Raise your prices often and your customers will likely learn to watch their content on demand and lower their bills from $50/month even further and dump your live TV channels all together.
