PBS and PBS Kids Channels are both now on the Official Roku Channel Store

The fully sanctioned live PBS channel stream is now available with full PBS episodes on Roku. With PBS now going public and adopting the Roku platform, hopefully it sends a strong signal to other broadcasters to get their channels onto the Roku platform as well. Wouldn't it be nice to turn on your Roku and watch current live streaming content from CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX along with PBS? Hopefully this will happen some day. With over 5 million Roku boxes sold, it may even happen sooner than later.

Full PBS Episodes Now Available on Roku

These are some of the PBS Prime Time shows you will now be able to watch on your Roku:

"Antiques Roadshow"
"American Masters"
"Austin City Limits"
"Great Performances"
"Frontline"
"Nova"
"Nature"
"Masterpiece" (Only last couple of episodes)

Along with selected content from local PBS affiliates. Missing for now is Downton Abbey as they signed a deal with Amazon Instant for exclusive rights to the series.

Full Episodes Now Available on PBS Kids Roku Channel

Full Sesame Street episodes will not yet be available, although they can currently be found on Amazon Instant and Netflix
