What is FTA?

Free to Air or FTA as it is commonly referred to, is as the name says Free television that can be received by a small satellite dish. Since these are all free feeds, there is never any subscription fees. 

FTA television requires a 30" or larger Satellite Dish, along with a Ku-Band LNB and a FTA DVB receiver. FTA also requires an unobstructed view of the Southern sky. Adding a motorized dish mover, gives access to multiple satellites and many more channels.

FTA will not give you many of the channels that are currently available on commercial Cable, Dish or Direct TV, and you will not receive free HBO or other premium channels. For a complete list of all available FTA channels please visit: FTAList.com
