AppleTV+ App Tracks the Shows You Watch Even From Other Apps
Never Miss Another Episode of Your Favorite Shows
The Apple TV app has a nice feature built-in that tracks TV shows you watch on other apps. It also lets you know when a new episode is available to stream.
The app will also track other TV shows you've been watching and places the next episode on the "Up Next" list to easily find and play it. When you select an episode, it automatically launches the app and that show will begin playing.
This feature works with most Apple TV apps except for two exceptions. Both Netflix nor Criterion will not interface with the Apple TV+ App. They would rather keep subscribers inside their own channel.
This is a Useful Feature That Makes An Apple TV Easier to Use for Elderly Parents
Because the AppleTV+ app does such an outstanding job of tracking and organizing your TV shows, this makes it incredibly easy for seniors. They won't need to remember which app plays what, or which episode they were watching. Just point them to their "Up Next" list inside the AppleTV+ app and they'll take it from there.
