Prime Video Now Offers a DVR Function For Limited Live TV Streams!

With Amazon Prime Video, you can now record any Thursday Night Football game. From the menu, you can either choose “Record Thursday Night Football” or “Add to Watchlist and Record.” Once added to your watchlist, it will automatically record any more games that air all season long. If you record a game when it first begins, you can then rewind or use the replay feature through the entire football game. So to enjoy the full benefit of the new Cloud DVR, be sure to create a season pass by first adding Live TV Shows that have recording enabled to your Watchlist.
Prime Adds Live DVR Recorder to Its App
Amazon recently added a cool new Live TV Cloud DVR feature to its Prime Video App. Users can now record their favorite live shows right to the cloud.
They always included a 15-minute video buffer, which let you rewind the last 15 minutes. But now Prime Video subscribers have the option of rewinding and fast forwarding as far back or forward, setting up season passes, and more.
It Only Works on Limited Live Shows
While this feature is most welcome to football fans. Cloud DVR recording is limited only to select shows at this point. If you want to record on-demand or live shows, a better option is to use an app like PlayOn Cloud. It lets you download and playback any show available on Prime and also from several other popular channels like Showtime, HBO, The Roku Channel, Hulu, and more.

So as Netflix is raising prices and losing content, Prime is making its channel better by adding DVR features and a ton more live channels to freevee. Which offers free streaming content supported by ads and is also a part of Prime Video.
