TV Antenna Quiz Question #5 - Discover the Joy of Watching Free TV
A TV Antenna Still Gives You The Best Programming FREE!
This next question has to do with finding which TV channels you can expect to receive at your location.
There are several websites available, and one of the best can be found on the FCC.gov website. Simply enter your address or Zip Code and it will show you where the local network TV transmitters are located.
It provides color-coded results that show how well you can expect to receive a signal from a particular television station.
Green represents stations that will have the best reception, yellow is moderate, orange is poor, and red is no TV signal at all. The maps are also useful for aiming an antenna in the direction of the station transmitters for the channels you would most like to receive.
