Three Popular Android Media Streamers

Nvida SHIELD vs Fire TV

Here's how the Nvidia SHIELD and Fire TV Stick 4K Compare

For top selling Android based media streamers, these three are among the tops in sales. They are all based on a modified Android operating system which means side loading popular TV apps is easy.

But comparing the Fire TV Stick and a NVIDIA SHIELD is not really fair, because that would be like putting Mike Tyson (The SHIELD) in the ring to duke it out with an underweight teenager. (Fire TV Stick.)

But the Fire TV Stick has one wonderful thing going for it. On price, it knocks both versions of the SHIELD TV out of the ring. While a 4K Fire TV Stick may not be in the same class performance wise, it beats pretty most everything else out there except for Roku for affordability. It's so affordable you could buy four Fire Sticks, for the cost of a SHIELD Pro.

But for the ultimate streamer in both power and style, the SHIELD Pro is still hard to beat. It's still one of the best performing and sexiest looking media streamer available today. Nvidia was so far ahead of its time when they released the SHIELD TV, there's not much else which has caught up and is in the same league today.

While all three streamers give you access to the same great Android TV sideloaded streaming apps, if you can afford one, the SHIELD Pro is still the champ and a is hard to beat.
