New Lower Priced Plan from Paramount+ eliminates 4K and has more ads

Paramount+ just released their new ad-supported streaming TV plan that will save cord cutters another $5 per off a month from their ad-free plan. But this alternative plan no longer supports 4K Streaming.

Their alternative plan also will eliminate HDR10, Dolby Vision and will not have any support for 4K. To get these features along with fewer ads, you need to spend an additional $5/month to get the Paramount+ Premium Plan. Both plans still come with a free one-week trail.

Paramount+ Premium

If you choose their Premium plan, it is $10 per month, and it offers 4K, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and the least amount of ads. You can watch their premium channel on 4K compatible Roku models, Apple TV 4K, Fire TV 4K and 4K Stick, and Nvidia SHIELD.

Paramount by the end of this summer plans on releasing 2500+ films. On June 10, they will have 1K films available to stream. With the rest slated to be added by summer's end. A large portion probably won't be in 4K, so if you can stand watching some ads, the $5/month plan could end up being a bargain.
