Here's an Easy Way to Watch HBO Max on Roku
There is really no way to install the new HBO Max app on Roku. But you can still watch your favorite HBO shows.

On Roku there is no HBO Max channel. But if you want to watch HBO Max on Roku you can add the HBO channel and use your HBO Max credentials to watch HBO shows. While not the ideal solution, it's a nice work around for now.
Add The HBO Roku Channel
To watch HBO follow these steps:
1. Download the HBO Roku Channel - Here »
2. After the channel has been added, go to Settings/ System/ Check for Updates. The HBO channel will then be found at the end of your Roku Channels list.
3. Visit https://www.hbomax.com and start your free 7/day trial. After the trial is over it costs $14.99 a month. Finally enter the HBO channel and sign in with the same information you used to set up your HBO Max account.
