These Netflix Secret Codes Can Unlock
Their Entire Library
Netflix has a lot of content in their video library and most Roku users love watching this channel.
Unfortunately, Netflix only likes to show you a very small selection of their content based on viewer preferences.
We were pretty excited when fieldguide.com shared this cool trick.
Here is how this works, if you have a small child that likes to watch a lot of cartoons, your Netflix suggestions would mostly be filled with cartoons or other children shows. Sure, you can search by title or actor, but this takes time.
Here is a much easier way to find a lot of great content based on the number codes that are on the end of the URL to their site. Each of these codes link to a list of content on Netflix by genre.
You will first need to be logged into your Netflix Account on your computer or mobile device. Then click any of the URLS on this list. The link will take you to all the shows and movies available for that category.
*(Numbers next to name have to do with category number and not amount of videos in that particular category.)
This actually a very useful tool for finding content on your Phone or Computer. Once you find a movie or TV show you would like to watch, just add it to your watch list. When you open Netflix on your Roku the shows will all be there as long as you sign in with the same account and user profile.
Using this list can really help your find some great stuff to watch on Netflix.
If you enjoyed this, be sure to take a look at our Netflix Top 100 page. It features a live updated feed from Netflix that will show you all their top rated and new TV Shows and Movies in real time.
Next time someone tells you there's really nothing good to watch on Netflix, show them this.
