RealPlayer Cloud - Makes converting videos across multiple platforms ancient history
|Add Roku channel|
Ever get frustrated trying to get a video to play on different devices? RealPlayer has launched a free cloud service that will make this a thing of the past. Now you can just upload your videos and watch them on Roku or from other networked and mobile devices.
Real Networks makes an app tied to their Video Could Service and offers up to 2GB Free storage and larger storage plans starting at $4.99 a month. You can download the app free for Android, iOS and also for Roku steaming media players.
Real Player Cloud will let you upload videos in any popular format including FLV, WMV, MKV, DIVX, XVID, MOV, AVI, and MP4. Once your videos have been upload to your RealPlayer cloud account, you can share them privately with friends or family. Videos automatically fit your portable device screen size and will play on that device without conversion. If you have multiple devices located on the same WiFi network, you can share and download your videos to any device on your network. Downloaded videos are still limited by what the device can play. For example an iPad can't play an .mkv file. Fortunately, this is not the case if you watch videos from your Real Networks Cloud account.
