Determining which channels you can receive with a Digital TV Antenna is Easy
AntennaWeb will help you to figure out which local broadcast stations are available in your area and how far away they are from your house. It will also tell you which size antenna you need. The further the transmission towers are from your location, the larger antenna will be needed.
If you live in a large city, you may be able to get by with just a small indoor antenna. If you live further and have hills and trees blocking the signal, it may then require a larger antenna placed on your roof or in your attic to receive some of these stations.
Once you hook up your antenna be sure to rescan your channels on your HD TV otherwise you won't receive any channels. Check your manual for instructions. If you still are not getting all the channels you should receive, reposition the antenna and scan your channels again.
